Georgians and Victorians put pineapples on their gateposts, railings and door knockers as a sign of welcome. We think the windows on a period home should be just as welcoming.
Premium sash windows, warmly welcomed.
All the character of a timber sash, without the drawbacks. Our premium uPVC sash windows are warmer, quieter and more secure than the windows they replace, and they never need painting. Made to measure in Wales and fitted by us across south-west London.

Everything you love about a sash window, minus the hassle
Original timber sashes look wonderful but they rattle, leak heat and need repainting every few years. Ours keep the look and fix the rest.
Warmer
Double-glazed, fully sealed and A+ energy rated, so the draughts stop and the heat stays in. Lower heating bills and no more cold spots by the window.
Roughly 4× less heat loss than single glazingQuieter
Sealed double glazing and tight-fitting weather seals cut out traffic and street noise, and the sashes don't rattle in the wind.
No more rattling sashesSafer
Security tested to PAS 24, with toughened glass and security locks as standard. Travel restrictors make them safer in children's rooms.
Police-preferred upgrade availableLess maintenance
No sanding, painting, rot or swelling. The sashes tilt inwards, so you can clean the outside glass from inside the room.

Premium uPVC that looks like timber
Cheap uPVC sashes give themselves away at the corners and rails. Ours are built with the details of a joiner-made window, so they suit Victorian and Edwardian homes.
Timber-look joints
Joint lines like a joiner's, instead of the mitred corners that make cheap uPVC look plastic.
Traditional proportions
Run-through sash horns, a deep bottom rail and a slim meeting rail, just like the originals.
Matched to your house
Glazing bars, sash splits and bays to match what you have, in white, cream, woodgrain or any colour.
Any colour your house deserves
From classic white to an exact match for your front door. We'll bring samples to your survey so you can see them in daylight against your brickwork.

Questions people ask
Will they look like my original timber windows?
That's what the heritage details are for: run-through horns, timber-look joints, a deep bottom rail and matching glazing bars. Bring us a photo of your originals and we'll match the proportions.
Can I fit them in a conservation area or a listed building?
Many conservation areas accept heritage-style uPVC sashes, but it's your council's decision and some areas have an Article 4 direction that restricts changes. Listed buildings usually need timber. We'll check your address before you commit.
How do I clean the outside of upstairs windows?
Both sashes tilt inwards, so you can clean the outside glass from inside the room.
How long does it take?
Manufacturing typically takes 7 working days from order for the standard range. We'll give you a full timeline, from survey to fitting, with your quote.
What guarantee do I get?
A 10-year manufacturer warranty on the windows, plus a written guarantee on our installation work, set out with your quote.
How much do they cost?
Our Classic sash window is £1,740 per window including VAT, supplied and fitted, whatever the size. Glazing bars or a woodgrain or colour finish add £240 per window. Bay windows and upstairs windows are included. Minimum job 3 windows. Your survey confirms the final figure.
